001 D-cult: Particle : Sat at No 2 on the Juno Download Chart on the third day of release, this weighty track will have you meditating on the bass from the get go. This one featured on Youngsta’s Rinse FM show. Released 10.10.11
002 Biome: Swirls One of the bigger names in the Manchester scene and recently featured in the Fabric blog, Biome brings forth a gritty yet perfectly executed beat, dark bass at it’s best. Phaeleh dropped this one in his Shogun audio Set at Cable. The clip is from the ICU Audio Sub FM show. Released 10.10.11
003 Catacombs – Dimension: Catacombs début release is a big one, this ones an automatic head nodder. Serious sub low bass and stripped back beats, this clip from ICU and Macabre Unit Sub FM Show. Demon- Chang Caine On the flip side Released 01.12.11.
004 Biome – Minus / Moody: Biome graces M.U.D with a two track release. Minus goes in on on minimal dungeon flex with hard hitting percussion. Released 09.01.12
M.U.D Comp 001 – Education
December 2012 sees the first compilation with a free DJ mix. Education celebrates 10 years of macabre Unit .

Review: A massive release from Macabre Unit, with no less than 25 tracks included in this compilation, plus a free DJ mix to boot. What more could you want? Expect to hear snapping rhymes, low slung beats and weighty bass pressure across the selection. Such highlights include the grouchy “1000 Years From Now” with a nod to Prodigy in the rave-esque riff, also the magnificent, swaggering “Horror Show” which crops up around the halfway point. As we near the end of the album watch out for the likes of “Cardiac Attack” with its choral background and quirky, glitchy rhythms, grime-ridden “Dem Na Ready” and concluding cut “Shootin Stars”.
